You did WHAT in your Easter basket?

Well, I am afraid it is true what they say: Like father, like son. Just check out this video of Parker in his Easter basket. Gross, but oh so funny.

This weekend we had a visit with Grandma and Grandpa Krcmar, and Parker got to meet his Great Grandpa for the first time! He still hams it up constantly with lots of laughing and smiling, but once the camera is on, he refuses to perform and show how cute they are. Life is truly uneventful right now, and we like it that way. We sit around making fools of ourselves, reading books, having baths, and playing with all the toys that are still too big for P! We also had our Easter pictures this weekend, and it just so happened that our appointment time fell when Parker needed to eat. Needless to say, he was NOT too thrilled! And, ever so exciting...mom and dad found themselves easilly amused with the hiccup dance!!

baby boot camp

Well Spring Break is almost over, and we have enjoyed spending so much time with P this week...and sleeping in! He is changing so much everyday. The smiles are almost constant and he is laughing and 'talking' to us. The schedule is getting better and we are feeling more sane as we get more sleep. We've been trying out the sling, the baby bjorn, bouncers, swing...daddy says it looks like baby boot camp in the livingroom!

Spring Break! A different kind of party....

Finally, Spring Break is here! I have been very much looking forward to hanging out with P all week and seeing more smiles. The past few days he has really bumped up the smiling and is chuckling at us now...well, mostly at Daddy. He doesn't seem to think Mommy is all that funny!

Yesterday we went to the pediatrician for Parker's 8 week checkup. He is smack dab in the middle, coming in at the 50th percentile for height and weight. But to me he looks so puggy!!! He is now outgrowing his tiny little newborn clothes and starting to wear some 0-3 stuff. I am wrapped around his finger more and more every day. Parker had to get a whopping 5 shots, but he took it like a champ. I was releived. In fact, he had a little gigglefest last night and JR and I were on the floor laughing at how funny he was! We have taken a few video clips and I am working on getting them uploaded shortly!!

This weekend P stayed with his Meme and Porgie and had a blast...so did Mommy and Daddy. We slept for 9 hours! Of course, I had to check on P, and they sent us a text message of our little aggie angel all decked out in UT garb!!! And, I have to admit, he is so cute that he makes burnt orange look good!!! :)

New Blog...check it out!

Hello all!
We created a new blog site to chronicle the ins and outs and every days of our new family! Our Parker Thomas has been with us only 8 weeks now, and it seems like we can't imagine life without him. He is so full of personality. He is smiling, laughing, kicking, and being a real ham like daddy. He loves his bathtime and it feels so good to see his smile and coo and kick when he hears our voices.
I am now back at school, although Spring Break starts tomorrow. Mommy and P are looking forward to spending some more quality together already though. The kids at school have been so funny and had lots of questions. The other second grade teachers had each student write advice for me on how to raise a baby, and it is absolutely hilarious! One student wrote: "Always remember to keep an eye on little Parker," and "You have to give him milk morning, noon, and night." My favorite was "My mom says being a mom is the hardest job!" Too cute!
